Bunker Renovation Update
We held our pre‑construction meeting on Wednesday the 25th and now have
authorization to begin work. Erosion and sediment controls are being installed
today. Renovation will start on holes 13 and 14; those holes will be closed
during construction, but the rest of the course will remain open. Please check
with the Pro Shop for the most up‑to‑date hole availability.

Course Update
After
being covered in snow for the past 30 days, the course is extremely wet and
scattered with debris. It will take some time to get everything cleaned up and
back in shape. This week our priority is getting greens and tees playable,
followed by addressing bunkers. Next, we will focus on clearing fairways and
rough. The geese have been enjoying the open turf—and have left plenty behind
for us to clean up.
Refurbishing Wood
Fixtures
Throughout
the winter, our grounds staff refurbishes the wood fixtures around the
property. This includes sanding, staining, and repairing range bag stands,
apple crates, benches, trash cans, and more. These efforts protect our
investment in these items and ensure they continue to look clean and well‑maintained
throughout the season.

Cleaning, Organizing,
and Repairing the Shop
Last week and this week, Ryan Anderson, First Assistant Superintendent, and
Ronnie Pettit, our Head Mechanic, have been reorganizing and cleaning the shop
to improve workflow and efficiency for equipment repairs. Meanwhile, Jose,
Ramon, and Israel replaced the rotten siding on my office trailer.
Next Week’s Projects
Next week we will replace sections of cart path from the parking lot down to
the cart staging area. Following that, our contractor will complete additional
cart path repairs at the Short Game Area path. Please use caution when
traveling through these areas.
