Agronomy Update — April 24, 2026

Bunker Renovation Progress

The construction company completed Phase 1 on Friday, April 17, and will return for Phase 2 on October 7. In total, they renovated three holes over 41 days.

Our team is now focused on fine-tuning these areas. This week, Daniel and Santiago installed a new quick coupler, allowing us to hand-water expanded fairway areas on Hole 16. They also added additional drainage along the cart path on the same hole.

Ryan and Laz continue to topdress and roll the new bentgrass sod to help smooth and firm the playing surfaces.

The three renovated holes are scheduled to reopen on April 28. Cart path restrictions will remain in place on Holes 13 and 15 to protect newly sodded areas.

On the Course

It has been a busy week on the course:

  • New sand is being added to select older bunkers to improve playability ahead of future renovations.
  • 1,700 summer annual flowers were delivered on Wednesday.
    • Gerb, Aiden, and Ramon began planting on Thursday and had 750 flowers installed by Friday afternoon. The remaining flowers are expected to be planted by the end of next week.
